Quest order? Thieves & Bodhi

    This is my third time through the SOA part of BG 2 so do not worry about spoilers. I have not done the Renal Bloodscalp quests for the thieves guild yet. I did talk to him and I have the assignment. But I just reached 15000 gold. I did not want to do that yet but I was not watching close enough. Anyway, I have now been approached by Bohdi and the Thieves with the new offer. I intend to side with Bohdi this time since I sided with the thieves before.

    Can I put off the decision on which side to take until I am ready? I am guessing that is the case - no time limit to respond. If I did agree to side with Bohdi before finishing the Renal Bloodscalp quest, would that end his quest? It is hard to imagine I could do both at the same time, but maybe they are independent.

    AAIK you can do renal's quest and after this side with Bohdi. Don't know for sure if it get interrupted if you do this halfway however. Just don't go to the graveyard after dark, because then you have to choose if you'll side with her or not.

    Don't burn your bridges with the Shadow Thieves yet if he/she is.

    [​IMG] You can do both Renals' quest and join with Bodhi. From a roleplaying aspect may not be suitable though.

    From what I've always played and known there is no time limit for deciding who to join so complete the quest first if you wish :)

    I am a thief class and would like to infiltrate the Mae'var guildhall, and do the thief class stronghold quest. Can I do that and later on and side with Bodhi?

    Bodhi won't work with you if you are a pure thief. I don't know about multi-class or dual classed thieves.

    I played a fighter/thief MC and did the Renal Bloodscalp quests. Met up with one of Bhodi's underlings and was told nevermind. Don't remember if I had gotten the thief stronghold yet. But I hadn't paid the thieves for help.

    My character is a chaotic evil assassin. So if I do the thief stronghold quest would it prevent me from doing Bodhi's quest?
