Protection from Evil spell stacks?!?! -- is this a bug?

    I noticed that my AC got better from each Protection from Evil casting I did. I don't think they're supposed to stack like that, but they do!

    Is this a bug?

    It's definitely a bug. IIRC, per 2E (and even 3E at that) rules Protection from Evil (or any alignment) spells should NOT stack.

    Improper spell properties (including spells that stack when they should not) seems to be one of the more common minor bugs in Infinity Engine games. Try this one: if you get slowed, cast haste on your party, then get slowed again while hasted. You'll get DOUBLE penalties when slowed the second time, as if the Slow spells were stacking - which they should not.
