Protection from Elements Scroll - Where?

    OK, here's a follow up on my halfling fighter-thief post. By the way, thank everyone for the advice, and yes, this little guy can in fact tank!

    My question was that I was advised to pick up Aeger's Hide and upgrade it. To do so, I need a scroll of Protection from Elements. Sadly, I don't have any idea where I can find one. I checked out the Adventurer's Mart, the woman who sell scrolls therein, and the Spell Store on the Promenade. No dice.

    I'm not sure I've ever even seen such a scroll. Is it a blue (mage) scroll or a green (non-mage) scroll? I suppose I will eventually come across one, but it would be so much easier if I could simply spend about 1,000 gp and buy one...

    It has blue scroll because it is a wizard spell. You should come across one sooner or later. In SoA part of the game, I am sure you will meet one in the Underdark anyway. If you found it in a shop in SoA after all, I don't think you could by it from 1000 gold.

    Why, is it a very high level spell? I figured it was somewhere around level 5, meaning with a high reputation, 1000 gp sounded about right. But if it's something like level 8 or 9, then you're right - no getting that down to a 1000 gp. Damn it though! Underdark? That's a while off yet...

    It's level 7. Maybe you will encounter a scroll as a random treasure before Underdark. And there might be such scrolls in the areas of other larger quests.

    It's level 7; you'll get one for free in the Underwater City. I think it may also appear as a random drop at higher levels.

    edit: argh, Baronius beat me to it.

    I found on a hint guide that there is such a spell in AR 2300. Any idea on where that is?

    EDIT: nevermind Camdawg got it - although honestly it really isn't much better the fact that it is in the underwater city as opposed to underdark - I still can't upgrade it until I get back to Athkatla anyway.
