I can not connect to the multiplayer in this game, I created an account, logged in, but when I hit Join Internet Game or Join LAN Game, my comp freezes, I have already try reinstalling it with no dice, I posted this same topic on the 'official' nwn boards in the tech help but no one knows the answer, someone told me to come here because its a good forum.

[IMG] Welcome to the boards ;)

I'm not sure what your problem is: However, I had some trouble with incompatible game versions ... that could be a reason. Further, I could think of a problem with your internet connection - maybe it's too slow. Another problem could be insufficient computer resources - when you have set your graphics to max it could be that your comps performance isn't enough. I can also imagine that programs running in the background consume computing power. Hope that helps.

Ragusa, I think he's saying that he can't connect to the Gamespy servers, not to the gaming servers. I've had similar problems myself. Only, whenever my comp crashes out from the screen, the game will not reload, ever. I have to get a clean boot to be able to get back in.

First off, how about telling us what OS you are running? Secondly, I agree with Ragusa, a 56K modem is insufficient to run this game. You're going to have to upgrade. Third, the Gamespy servers themselves don't always work as they should, live with it. The fourth thing I could tell you is the same thing Ragusa did. Kill all your TSR programs running and/or upgrade your system.

[IMG] I met him on a gamespy server and linked him to SP ;) So one thing's clear: He can join the gamespy servers and only has problems to join the games (but how should you know Rastor, no one mentioned that :) ) :hmm:

Spotted Tree Squeak, could you please give more info about your internet link, your comp, game version and precisely describe what happens when the comp crashes ... ?
