Problems getting Tiax to join party

    he was such fun in BG2 that i thought i replay bg1.

    do you have to be evil or something for him to join?

    Maybe you just have low charisma. I had that problem with Tiax and Viconia, because I sacrificed Charisma down to 2 for other stuff.

    nope, he still won't join up.

    it's nothing to do with low charisma though - viconia's already in the group.

    tiax mumbles something about me being of no use to him.

    yeah, tiax in in bg2. in spellhold.

    he's probably one of the funniest characters in bg2 - suffers from delusions of grandeur

    sorry to keep nagging, but does tiax have any particular sub-quest to complete?
