problem with hotkeys

    have been playing now for about a week and i find it hard to get much out of my spell casters during combat.

    trying to cast a spell thats buried in yer book, during a fight is really tricky, as it means taking ur eyes off the tanks hps.

    for single class casters you get 3 `hotspell` slots which is great, but for multi class characters this is not the case.

    i like using, nalia but she has 3 hot keys for thieving skills which i dont use.

    how can i get rid of these and put in 3 slots for spells??

    it would be great to be able to hot key certain special skills too. its also annoying to have to go delving thro the buttons while in combat.

    can this be down, or can it only changed with some sort of game hack.

    iirc the hotkeys are hard coded and cannot be changed. If spellcasting in the middle of the game seems difficult for you just switch on the autopause at end of round option. While it might take more time than usual to win a fight, it will not be a problem otherwise.

    Why not just hit spacebar while youy pick your spells :hmm: that way you won't have to worry about your other partymembers hit points...
