    Howdy all,

I'm having trouble getting into the lower section of the Cult of the Unseeing Eye. I have Graal's key. When I move to the spot where the hole to the lower section should be I don't get any feedback from the game that there's a door there. I move my mouse all over the area and I just get the circle with the diagonal slash through it. I've tried reinstalling the game to no avail.

I'm running Windows XP (home), I have ToB expansion added (I can't really try it without as I have ToB items on my character). I've tried it with the base ToB install and with the latest patch.

    Help!

    Thanks.

p.s. if any kind soul out there would be willing to simply move my character below and resave I'd be grateful. Send me a private message and I can email you my saved game.

Did you go through the door that the key unlocks way up at the top of the area? If so, it's on the stairs that you should be looking for the area transition.

Ok, I'm guessing that you need to go find the 2nd half of the rod for Gaal. If that's the case, then you are looking for a spiral staircase that is North-West from where you meet Gaal. The only way to get there is to go back to where you entered, and instead of going South-East, follow the sewer South-West a few steps and you'll find a door. Gaal's key opens that door. Follow the passage until you meet a blind guy who's hiding in one of the tombs that holds part of Kangaxx's bones. Keep going South-West and you'll eventually find the staircase. Take a look at this map of the area to get a better idea of what I just said. You're trying to get to marker #4. :thumb: :rolling:

Okay, so I need to read the quest text rather than replaying by memory (3 years old). I needed to get the FIRST half of the rift rod before the zone down will work.

    Thanks all.
