I've started to work on the "Prestige Classes" mod. The first version will contain Dwarven Defenders and Shadowdancers. A nice IWD2 adaptation is made by Dave Fried. :)

    Dwarven Defenders:

    Prerequisites.
    • Alignment: LG, LN, LE
    • Race: Dwarf
    • BAB: +7 or better
    • Feats: Dodge, Endurance, Toughness (at least one star)
    General Class Features.
    • Hit die: d12
    • Class skills: Intimidate
    • Skill points per level: 1 + Int modifier (2 + Int modifier in PnP, but halved for IWD2)
    • Weapon and armor proficiencies: Same as a fighter (all simple and martial weapons, and all armor and shields)
Special Class Features by Level. The dwarven defender progresses as any other character, but has only ten levels available:
    </font>
    1. BAB +1, Fort +2, Ref +0, Will +2, AC +1 (see below)
      Defensive Stance 1/day (see below)
    2. BAB +2, Fort +3, Ref +0, Will +3, AC +1
Defensive Awareness (same as Uncanny Dodge ability of 3rd level rogue)
    3. BAB +3, Fort +3, Ref +1, Will +3, AC +1
      Defensive Stance 2/day
    4. BAB +4, Fort +4, Ref +1, Will +4, AC +2
    5. BAB +5, Fort +4, Ref +1, Will +4, AC +2
      Defensive Stance 3/day
    6. BAB +6, Fort +5, Ref +2, Will +5, AC +2
Defensive Awareness (same as Uncanny Dodge ability of 6th level rogue)
      Damage Reduction 3/-
    7. BAB +7, Fort +5, Ref +2, Will +5, AC +3
      Defensive Stance 4/day
    8. BAB +8, Fort +6, Ref +2, Will +6, AC +3
    9. BAB +9, Fort +6, Ref +3, Will +6, AC +3
      Defensive Stance 5/day
    10. BAB +10, Fort +7, Ref +3, Will +7, AC +4
Defensive Awareness (same as Uncanny Dodge ability of 10th level rogue), Damage Reduction 6/-
Armor Class Bonus. A dwarven defender receives an extra, miscellaneous bonus to AC based on class level. The bonus starts at +1 at first level, and increases to +2 at 4th level, and an additional +1 at every third subsequent level. Since the bonus is miscellaneous,

Defensive Stance. Defensive Stance is similar to Barbarian Rage. The character engaging in the stance cannot move, but gains +2 Str, +4 Con, +2 to all saves, and +4 miscellaneous bonus to AC. The stance, just like barbarian rage, lasts for 3 rounds plus the character’s new Con modifier (so a defender with 12 Con would have 16 Con during the stance, and the stance would last for 3+3=6 rounds). After the stance is over, the defender is winded like a barbarian after a rage for a period of time (just use the same penalties as the barbarian gets).

Defensive Awareness. Treat this ability identically to the Rogue, Barbarian, and Assassin ability of Uncanny Dodge.

Damage Reduction. Damage reduction stacks with (and is in addition to) that for other classes, spells, and abilities.

    Any ideas or comments?
