    Do you think one would require a dsl or cable modem in order to play NWN online? versus dialup which works just as good for Diablo 2 as a faster internet connection?

    depends on the HDM running the server, i know its possible to reduce the look of the game to a lower resolution to make it run smoother, 56k should be enough.

    [​IMG] As has been stated many times by the Bio guys, 56k should be fine for a PLAYER. As a DM you definately need cable or dsl cos you are are handling up to 64 players. Try and get a connection that doesn't keep dropping you out though!
