    Easy one man!

download the picture by clicking the link. Once downloaded open the file (ZIPs i think) using winzip/pkunzip. Unzip the files into the /portraits directory in the Baldur's Gate Folder. When in the game you can either create a new character with them or if you want to change a present characters portrait, go into the information screen (with all the stats) and hit the customise button.

    Easy as that! :D

[IMG] There should already be a /portraits directory in the Baldur's Gate folder. Hmmm

if there isn't you should know how to make one... and i would be worried if you didn't.

i found another good Unzipper that is really good for beginners
