Hi, I'm having trouble finding portraits to BGII - SoA! I know you can use the ones from BG I, but the problem is that I've deleted all my old ones, and I can't find any now... Could you give me some good sites to download and find them? And don't suggest Fileplanet.com, I hate it... I find it pretty confusing and I have a firewall that prevents me from downloading from programs like Kazaa and such!

Here are some good ones to try in addition to those on Sorcerer's Net:

    -Baldur's Gate Customizations - http://molskin.hypermart.net/

    -Drizzt's Portraits - http://www.geocities.com/drizzt_darkelf2001/

    -Havak's Portraits and Sounds - http://havak.db-forge.com/

    -Kitiara's Palace of Portraits - http://members.shaw.ca/kitiara/index1.htm

    -Peterond Silverbow's Portraits - http://silverbow.dwec.org/portraits.htm

    -The Portrait Portal - http://www.karwal.dk/portraitportal/

    -Kirith's Portraits - http://www.kirith.com/

**Note that the last two should be the first places you visit. They have some excellent portraits there...

The best thing you can get is to edit your own photo with photoshop. You can insert your face to a ready BG2 pic too, like I did (used MAN2L.BMP, the one used for BG1 premade cleric IIRC) and people keep asking me where you can make yourself a photo in armour ;) Mages and thieves probably require more work - all those wands, hoods etc, but it's still worth it.

While I do think Chev's portrait is...humerous at best, I think the best thing to do is read through the tutorial which is at The Protrait Portal to make portraits for yourself - of yourself...that is, if you have Photoshop or some other photo editor. :rolling:
