When we get a pop-up ad, if we click on it, does SP get anything out of it? Like revenue?
Second, everynow and then I get a pop-up ad for ebay. I have an ebay account and bid and purchase from there frequently. If I access ebay through the pop-up ad, bid on an item and win, does SP get anything from my purchase?

    Hmm...
    I'm a big eBayer too.
I would like to know this as well!

Yeah, cuz I think I could possibly speak for a lot of SP ebayers when I say that if I do bid on an item and can do it by accessing ebay through the pop-up ad, I would.

[IMG] I get paid as long as the pop-up/under loads fully. Everything else is totally optional on your part. You don't need to click on it or anything. Just letting it load fully before closing it.

Additionally, I don't get paid anything more if you DO click on it, or do anything else but let it load fully.

It's good that you say this Tal, because I always click them away as soon as they pop up. I will from now on let them load completely. (Lucky for you my popup killer has broken down ;) )

I remember correctly, you mentioned something of "advertisers being picky" (of the country) in another topic. Does this still hold true? If it does, I do not see any need to disable my pop-up killer, as I live in Finland...

Well, they only block what they put on the list. There's always a chance they haven't blocked you, even if you're not on the list of approved countries.

OK, I'll from now on let it load fully. You know, with my legendary wisdom I always had the pointer right in place to hit the close button in advance.

Yeah, I'll let it load fully too. Now if we click on one of the banners and order, you do get something, right?
If so, any chance of adding ebay anytime soon?

Hmm... Gotta get one of those "what-your-IE-is-sending-to-the-world" tools...

[IMG] If you buy anything through the BANNERS, that is, NOT pop-ups, then yes, I get a commission. (From Amazon etc.)

I don't get anything whatsoever from pop-ups except credit if they load fully.

I'll look into eBay's affiliate programme, thanks for letting me know.

Edit: eBay's a no-go. They use Commission Junction which I absolutely abhor, due to previous experience with them. Sorry.
