I'm currently developing a mod that adds a party-joinable NPC to the game. Here's the information: Female, Elven Wizardslayer with a pretty substantial backstory, she's got some useful innate abilities as well. She's chaotic good in alignment. In addition to just having that, though, I'm interested in what other things you would like to be included with the pack. I've put together a list that I hope is pretty all-inclusive, so just select everything that you wish to see.

I may release each of these components seperately as well, so you may not have to wait until the entire thing is done (which will take a while.) If there is something that you wish to see that is not on the list, post it below.

Good idea a new NPC. I do think though that "elf" is a little overdone. There are still almost no options for the gnome, halfling, half-orc, and I bet still nothing for a dwarf!

It would be fun of course to have any new NPC. I would simply suggest that a human would be better, but that is my opinion and after all I am not doing the mod.

I can't wait until someone comes up with a halfling, gnome or dwarf NPC that actually includes a romance, now that would be innovative!

Intraparty fights should avoid the stupidity of TDD mod which 100% forces a fight "on sight" between Kagain and Yeslick. Possible fights and arguments make a lot more sense than forced ones. At least you have a chance of fixing the party up before it comes to blows.

I reckon that a whole bunch of items and stuff is interesting, but the NPC and the romances, dialogues are far more entertaining.

Keep up the good work. Hope to see it work.

BTW if you can, change the innate magic resistance of the Wizard Slayer to be a more sensible amount per level. I reckon 2% per level, rather than 1% until level 20 then 5% jumps is a bit lame.

Well..the practal answer would be, a new NPC.

I also think the new NPC should have banter with other "new" NPCs, like Kelsey, and Solaufien. :rolling:

I would implement it in a similar way to the (spoiler!) Viccy and Keldorn incident.

That's certainly a viable idea, and one that I am certainly intrigued by. The only problem is that the game does not include much in the way of models and paperdolls for tieflings and aasimars. So, we wouldn't be able to make it truely effective. I could give her a human or elf avatar and call her something else though.

Actually, if someone downloads it without ToB installed, it will work the old way. With ToB, it will work the new way. Changing that would be very difficult.
