    I don't get surprised that often. From chevish:

    "?" - "explain, please" / "what?"

    "what?" - "wtf?"

    "wtf?" - "what have you/they been smoking?"

    "hmm?" - "what next?"

    "lol?" or "lol..." - the funny version

    In the rare instances I'm actually surprised and it actually matters, I typically just say that.

    The most used one for me would probably be "whoa!"

    wtf, sh-it (without the -), yikes, oh crap would also work, but of course everything depends on the situation.


    I need some more time to think about what I would say if I was suprise-scared by someone online... (although I wonder how....)
