How many of you BG2 players out there want a mod that would add all those side areas that you discover yourself by exploring (like in BG1) in BG2 ? (eg, sea watcher ruins, firewine bridge, all those forests and hilly bits where you find all sorts of interesting people/items)

You may choose more than one option.

Agreeing with Sarevok. Size doesn't matter since I have broadband.

I'd love new wilderness areas in BG2; it's one of the BG1 features I really miss. The problem is that tilesets for new areas are really big and while the compression available for them helps, they still end up being very large. For example, BGT included tilesets for all of the BG1 areas, and it totaled ~500 MB in compressed tilesets alone.

Yeah, but that's for all of the BG1 areas. A tileset for an individual area is probably closer to ~8 to 10MB compressed.
