I have an overt fondness for dwarves. I used to hate gnomes until I met Jan Jansen and realised that gnomes are the only race that can multiclass a specialist wizard.

Oh, and Betrand the Companion is a nice bloke...

 

only too true. I hate to admit any mistake in public, esecially one in my own post! but i have gone and misclicked one of the check buttons. On the way to click halfling as most hated, i have clicked gnome. 'tis a pity, as Jan and Oswald Fiddlebender (IWD2) are very admirable fellows.

I go for the small people, and I would never ever play half-orc. Because... because I don't like them, or something...

 

Humans rule.

 

Half-elves are the best. They can have night sight and you are not as wimpy as an Elf. Dwarfs are power houses for fighting, but my second favorite race is Human. That may be my pride though. (I love the Human paladins.)

 

so far on the poll noone like half-orcs and noone hates halflings...

 

I still think that the Drow rule supream! But since the Drow wern't listed, I chose Elves as my favorite, with Half-Orcs as my least favorite.

 

I like humans because of the dual class ability. Oh, and also because historically, they were pretty much the only race that could raise to the max level in every class, but I guess that argument can be thrown out now...
