[IMG] So I'm in Irenicus' dungeon (chap 1), and Minsc decides to use those 5 arrows of biting rather than selling them for once. Yoshimo then attacks him. I reloaded a few times just to make sure, and Yoshimo only attacks when Minsc uses the arrows, and every time Minsc uses the arrows.

    What gives?

I haven't tested this elsewhere, but are there any consequences of, say, Keldorn using bolts of biting, or anyone using poisoned throwing knives, etc. And what really baffles me is that TN Yoshimo, the frickin' thief for cryin' out loud, attacks Minsc, the NG ranger.

    Any thoughts?

[IMG] Excuse me, but I never seen something like that. I assume Minsc attacks hostiles, and not party members...

Anyway, if there is no ToB installed, if no UNOFFICIAL FIXES are installed, if you installed official fix and it still happens, zip the save and mail it to me.

Sorry...I have SK installed, but this definitely happened *before* I did so. And judging from the general tone of your posts, Extremist, I gather you consider my game tainted. ;) ToB installed as well.

But I seem to remember (a thousand years ago or so) when I was playing d&d with pencils and dice and friends that paladins (and possibly rangers) couldn't use poison. It made sense then, and still does, so I always sell off the 'biting' projectiles rather than use them..

Edit: just reread your post...should have checked this before I started the topic...he was firing at a shadowthief who was whacking a mephit (or quasit), and who had not yet gone hostile (still blue circle). Could that have something to do with it?

[IMG] As stated a dozen times before, BG2 with ToB installed has a separate forum. Topic moved.

Sorry, tal...but all this bizness happened before SK and before ToB were installed. Perhaps I should have clarified...what I meant was that it was now to late to send a zipped saved game to Extremist.

Edit: Besides, I have exactly no idea how to zip a saved game.

sending Extremist a SK infected save game sounds like a REALLY BAD idea.

As for how to zip a savegame. You need winzip, and rightclick in a folder and click New -> Winzip file. You then take you savegame from the save folder in your BG2 folder and hover it over the zip file and release, the game should then be dumped into the zip.
