Planescape Torment Screensaver

    Dear All

    I've spent most of today making a screensaver using Flash 2 (yes I know it's old and limited but it was free on a disk rather than paying the £300 for a new copy). The screen saver basically plays the theme tune and brings up the main characters with brief backgrounds. If you are interested in taking a look (and not being too harsh in your critisicm) you can download it from here:

    Its just under 2 meg in size so doesn't take too long to download and is in the form of a self installing pack so is dead easy to use. For those of you who are worried, there is an option to turn the sound down or even off. For those who use Flash, I made the screensaver from a flash movie using a free programme from:

    PPS sorry to anyone having problems accessing my site. I just seem to have no luck with ISPs at the moment. I have pretty much given up on ever connecting via Freeserve 'Anytime' in the evenings and my GetDotted domain hosting keeps falling over for no reason. :( Just perservere.

    Does this mean no one likes my little screen saver? It's quite good really if you haven't given it a try yet.

    Actually, Slappy, That wasn't half bad.
    You should have made it so that Lady of pain's text scrolled down.
    Oh yeah, and added Transcendent 1!

    When does life patch 1.2 come out, I need this patch badly and my life is obiously too fucked up for the first version.

    PLEASE!!! do something, don't think I can live on much longer without it.... :( :(

    Thanks for the positive feedback :). Maybe I'll get around to sorting out the Ladiers text. I did toy with the idea of making all the Bio's into scrolling text blocks but gave up because of the time to type it all in and the extra animation required. Oh well, if there seems enough interest I might be persuaded to do a version 2.

    As for the life patch, that's a bit more difficult. My life is terribly corrupted and I can't install the first patch to imrove it and so work on a new patch, etc Doh ;)

    The screensaver on the other hand was pretty good actually, better than rodenkos BG2 screensaver anyway(no offense intended)
