Planar Sphere hint?

    To get downstairs in the Planar Sphere there are 4 symbols on the floor.

    I have played twice now and have never found where is a hint on what order to touch them. Everywhere else in the game is pretty clear what to do via the hints (torn pages, books etc). Two guides I read just tell the solution - not where it came from. I found the order by just random trials and restore game. Is there a hint somewhere in the game that shows the sequence? I will be disapointed if it is really just a random trial-and-error to find the sequence.

    I just thought they looked like the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4. I pressed them in that order. Perhaps I'm just odd.

    OK, maybe that is the solution. The two guides I read called them N, E, S, W. I wiill have to go back and look at them again. Maybe they do look like numbers if I look closer. Then I will really fell dumb. :(

    I tried a guess first time... spectacles, testicles, wallet and watch (N,S,E,W), and it funnily worked for me. ;)

    Always thought they looked like numbers too.
    Any of the UB modders (SimDing0, Andyr, Icelus, ...) know if the clues mistakenly got left out?

    I did it by trial and error. The damage wasn't fatal anyways, as long as the rest of the party are outside the room. I should try looking for the numbers next time.

    Anyway, they do look like 1,2,3,and 4... when you look at them this way. The puzzle of the floor tiles in the abandoned temple was cooler, I think.

    I did the Planar Sphere last night. Yes the 4 symbols contain the numbers. 1, 3 and 4 are obvious, but the 2 is hard to see.

    Did the Bard quest done today, and off to the Umar Hills for the Shadow Dragon tomorrow.
    I'll stop and and get Carsomyr along the way since the dungeon is already cleaned out.

    Two Dragons in one day! :eek: :p
