[IMG] Okay, so after reading how there are still some good items to pickpocket later in the game, I used DaleKeeper to crank up my thief's pickpocket skill to like 90... With bonuses, it's over 90, but I still run into plenty of characters who I can't pickpocket. :bang: What gives?

hmm strange. i know in the bg series pickpocket chance was lowered when spectators (not the monsterclass) were near. example : madam mim in copper coronet. it was a lot easier to pickpocket her when you send the angry wife to the backrooms so that rumar and priss were gone.

maybe similar in your case ?
i know in bg1 it was possible to use "sleep" on your pickpocket target and stealing was easy.

why not just slit their throat or sizzle them with a lightning bolt and pry their petty belongings from their stiff fingers? its always worked for me. well until my game crashes... damn i hate that
