    Does physical mirror spell (cleric lvl 6 spell)reverse beholder's attacks?

    While we're on the subject, what does? Other than Balduran's Shield, anyway. Spells and items. IIRC, cloack of mirroring does, but I'm not sure.

    I think spell turning does. But it might be spell deflection? I can never tell the difference between those two.

    Spell Turning, but it won't last beyond 1 or 2 eye blasts. Cloak of Mirroring does.

    If I'm not mistaken Spell Turning makes the spell return to the caster. Spell Deflection absorbs the spell so it does not affect you!

    Slightly :yot: , but Cloak of Mirroring does reflect beholder rays. Spell turning just doesn't last long enough - especially against two or more beholders.

    Beholder never uses pure damaging rays if somebody is wearing the cloak of Mirroring and instead uses paralyzing stares and such.

    Yes, but if there are any Gauths around, they will use them and they will usually die as a result of this by the time you kill the beholder/s.
    The only thing with the cloak of reflection is that the elder orbs can still imprison you.

    Imprisonment isn't a spell that is "thrown". In order for that spell to take effect, you need to be within physical reach and be touched. IIRC, Chaotic Commands prevents imprisonment as will berzerker rage.

    Berserker rage and Barbarian rage protect against Imprisonment, but not Chaotic Commands. CC defends against mostly mind altering affects.
