[IMG] The other day a friend gave me a cd with some photos we made but instead of the usual slide show it was kind of movie: with transitions with baloons and those birthday party things, it has music too. What kind of program does this? It was recorded in a divx format or something. Any ideas?

I have never used such a program, but it can probably be found here.

Did you ask your friend what program he/she used to make it?

It might have been bundled with his/her digital camera software. I don't remember offhand, but I think my Kodak camera software might be able to do something like that.

At this point, I'd suggest you ask him/her, or snoop aroun download.com for it. :rolling:

    You are right, Kitrax.

Some Kodak cameras ship with a program that allows the user to create slideshows in a format readable by Quicktime Player. A small number of transition effects are available.

Why? I've had my Kodak 3.2 MegaPixel camera for about 2 years now and I love it. The only thing I would want to change on it would be more zoom. It comes with a 4X zoom, but I prefer the ability to get as close at 10X. Other than that, I think Kodak camera are pretty good.

As for quicktime...it's not a bad player, and lets people with with a Mac view your slideshow. Not everyone is blessed with a PC you know... :rolling:

Well, my frien has another friend who did the thing, so after some investigations I came up with a program called MemoriesOnTV and that did the trick, my girfriend stayed all the morning with the thing and she got a nice 15 minutes dvd with her pictures and music and effects, etc.; is a nice tool, has a lot of effects and transitions plug-in.
Thank you guys for the help.

It is a slide show with audio file. I made something similar with Nero.

I found a program called Memories on TV, it works great, lots of transitions and options, my girfriend steals the computer for hours to make a 'movie' leaving me watching stupid television shows...
