I not sure if this is a toolset topic or not, but i put it here cause more people probably read this board.

Anyway using the toolset to make legal items ( item levl 20 or under) what would be the best combination for a monk to be as good as it could possibly be.

Like should i create lots of items that give him damage immunity and damage resistant. Or should i make it so he has much better saving throws and ability bonus'. Or any other setups.

    Any advice appreciated.

[IMG] That's the worst argument you could have made why it should be posted in Game. Moving to Toolset.

Regardless of what you do, you won't get the "perfect" gear. It really depends on what you're aiming to defend against. I guess with a monk's natural resistance to magic, your best bet would be to focus on damage reduction and resistance. A cloak with +5/30 reduction and some clothing with +25 acid/fire/etc resistance will make you pretty hard to damage. It will also suck all the fun right out of the game. Use at your own discretion.

[IMG] A better question in my opinion is what is best to make a monk look realistic while still doing a good job?

Robes. That is about the stereotypical garb for monks.

Anyway, if your goal is to make an uber monk, go for the damage resistance. Monks have a nice Spell Resistance to begin with.

Well, how come you can't make the character show himself wearing a robe or a cloak?

    Did you try equipping it?

Robes (read: Actual robes) need a hak pack to appear on characters. What I was talking about was the standard clothing (wizard robes) that characters start with.
