[IMG] I just fought "Revered Brother Polequin" and when the movie shows and teleports my group back to Easthaven, the game freezes. Everthing is grayed out. My message window will work and I can scroll through my window and my players keep saying things like "are we waiting on something?" But I can't do a thing. Anyone else having this kind of trouble? This is really aggravating as I have come this far for the game to freeze on me.

    I have installed all patches.

[IMG] Then by all means share your clever solution, fellow traveler! I am stuck in exactly the same place in exactly the same way, and I sure can't seem to figure it out....
    Please?

    TIA,

    --- The Waltz King.

[IMG] I'm trying to remember exactly how I did this.

Load your game closest to the fight with Polequin, probably your autosave game. Don't move any of your characters or anything.

Name the game something different than what it was and save it.

Go into your Icewind Dale folder and find the yellow folder named "override".

    Rename the folder "Backup"

Now you should be able to load that game and fight Polequin, it shouldn't freeze on you then.

It worked perfect for me, I had tried reloading and playing that part a hundred times and it always froze up on me.

I say exactly because I can't remember for sure if I went directly renaming that folder then loading the game and all that, but I will go with my first instincts. If it doesn't work you can always name it back to "override".

Let me know it this works for you too.
