I've seen some posts here regarding what order to install the patches in, but these lists neglect the widescreen mod and I've got a problem with that.

I'm using the 4 CD version of this game. I'm running Windows 7 7600, but can easily load up another version of Windows in Virtualbox if that's necessary (though I'd rather just use Compatibility Mode in 7, if that's possible).

First, I installed the official patch.

I installed Platters fixpack and the fixbeta via this page:
    http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/Torment/index_mods.php

I then installed the G3 widescreen 2.2 mod via this page:
    http://www.gibberlings3.net/widescreen/

And set my screen resolution to 1680x1050.

Unfortunately, now Planescape doesn't load after I run torment.exe.

It did, however, run immediately after installing the game (no patches applied).

I have played through Planescape Torment once, back when it was in retail stores.

Basically, I don't want anything that significantly changes gameplay. Just bug fixes and widescreen.

What patches should I install and in what order?

Generally any unofficial fixes come last, so try just installing the ws mod first and then Platter's stuff.
