Whats th best way to wait it out for it to change from day to night in the game? I know this might sound like a dumb question..resting seems to be the obvious answer, but everytime I try this, it's always the same (night or day) when I wake up as it was when I started resting...how long do these charcters rest for anyways? Is the best way to do that just to roam around for a few minutes? (in real time)

The resting in NWN takes as long as it looks like it does. If you wandered around for as long as that resting bar takes to fill, the same amount of time would have passed.

The reason for this is time continuity in multi-player since not everybody is resting at the same time.
