[IMG] I'm starting an evil game. I'm making my character(fighter Dual priest talos) and two others(fighter Dual thief and wizard slayer Dual mage). I want to pick up Korgan and Edwin. My question is, how well can a five person party make it through the game. I'd like to keep it at five because I worry about the experience I'll get if I do quests in an evil manner. I'd pick up Vionca if I had to, but I'd rather get as much Exp as possible. Is the game manageable with five and how well.

I have the same question. I'm wanting to run an evil party with:

    me (1/2 orc barbarian)
    Korgan
    Viconia
    Edwin
    Jan

My experience with BGI and IWD is that less than 6 players can be just fine. That's because each member of your party gets a bigger chunk of earned XPs. Since the difficulty of each area/chapter is designed for a 6-member party, you'll always be a little ahead of the curve on levels. It tends to even things out.

[IMG] Thanks for the reply sminnis. I'm going to try it out for as long as I can. I think with the party I'm choosing, it's pretty well balanced. With several fighters and magic users. I guess if it gets too bad, I can always pick up Vionca. If anybody has played a 5 person evil party through BG2, post something and let us know what you thought of the experience.
