[IMG] I tried first at CoM because they created him, but I haven't gotten much answer, so I'm asking here. Here's what was said:

    Felinoid -
I'm trying to build a party in advance for a run with Tsujatha, but I'm having a little difficulty. I was thinking of some sort of theme party, but I also like to keep it balanced (sufficient thief, 1.5 divine, 1.5 arcane, etc.), and I just can't seem to get a handle on the type of PC who would romance Tsu and also fit into a balanced party. It would also undoubtedly help to know who (if anyone) you simply can't have with Tsu.

    So, any suggestions?
    ..................................................
    D.A.R.E. -
I usually have other mods along with Tsu. He works well with pretty much anyone he's all the mage a party really needs unless you want to take Imoen along for her thief skills. I usually have my Character a Wizard Slayer with lots of magic resistance increasing items and armour enhancers. Only think I suggest is not taking Anomen along. I don't like the conflict cause whenever I have it Tsu just keeps doing the talks where he gives you figs or a wreath of flowers on your pack...
    ..................................................
    Felinoid -
Well, I was thinking of taking Immy along for the goody factor, and I think I can handle giving Anomen the boot (or the more popular sword-to-the-throat  ).

I guess the problem really ends up being the character concept (and the kind of people that they would surround themself with). I'm hoping to romance Ajantis (or maybe Coran) in Tutu on the way to BG2, but finding someone who would fit both with the type of party that Ajantis requires (non-evil) and with balancing parties in both games gets complicated.

Redeeming evil? Ajantis will have a problem with those guys.
Soothing torured souls? They all seem to be clerics in BG2. (Not counting Yoshi and Valygar, of course.)

I just can't seem to get away from the Ilmaterian view here, and I'm hoping to get some insight on other reasons for being with Tsujatha. What attracts a goody two-shoes to a confessed murderer?
    ..................................................
    Okay people, your turn. :D

My first run with Tsu, I took PC F/T, Jaheira, Anomen, Kelsey, Tsujatha and Keldorn. My second run was with PC Stalker, Jaheira, Anomen, Imoen/Yoshimo, Tsujatha and Sarevok in ToB (when I get there).

Tsujatha has a romance conflict with Anomen and they become surprisingly companionable. Despite wanting the same woman, they were able to talk about things rationally. Tsu pokes at Jaheira a lot, especially concerning her 'neutrality' that isn't. ;) Tsu also talked with Keldorn about how a LG pally could travel and fight beside an evil party member. Keldorn is bendable on that point, saying Tsu has a good influence to counter the 'evil'.

If you would like banters, I strongly suggest Jaheira, Anomen and Keldorn. My F/T worked in very well, especially when Tsu starts giving her presents!

To complicate things even more, who do/don't you want in your party? What other mods do you have (other NPCs?)?

Actually, Keldorn is a good idea for the BG2 Ajantis angle. Unknowingly killing your former lover and whatnot.

I'm not sure about Anomen, though. I kind of want to avoid any bugs, and after what D.A.R.E. said... :bad:

But again, what I'm having the most trouble with is the PC. What's the motivation? What's Tsu like?
Well, like I said in the original thread, a theme would be nice to screen the NPCs. As for mods, I don't like having that many at one time, even NPCs. EoU, Revised Hell Trials, and Alora NPC are my only permanent ones, though Fade NPC may be making it onto that list if it's as good as I'm anticipating.

I haven't had any probs with Anomen causing Tsu to loop his dialogue. Very weird.

What is Tsujatha like? Here's my interpretation, though you may get more from the books.

He's a strong personality, but can find compromise. He's in love with another woman who married another man (can you feel the burn of rejection?). He's mostly quiet and doesn't open up to others. He has a lot in common with the PC being an offspring of a disliked figure. He's respectful of decisions, even if he doesn't like them.

These threads from CoM might prove useful:

Well imho it depends a lot on the ''goody'' :p and I believe that things are much easier for a chaotic good character.
For me some of the reasons can be the following:

    1) Your desire to redeem the ''Bad guy''. You believe strongly that Evil is not his '''true'' nature
and you take him with you trying to make him realize it and discover the truth ... (not me :p )

    2) ''The end justifies the means''.

You have some goals to attain in your ''BG-life" (Sarevok,Irenicus,etc....) .And you have noticed that some of the most powerful/skillful NPCs you have found in your way are of evil nature.I find it perfectly right for a good-alligned character to ''use'' them for his own good ends...

    3) (Ehm...my bad english will not allow me to set out this one clearly, sorry)

''Evil'' does not consist only of negative ingredients (and the same applies to Good too).An ''evil'' character can perfectly have many virtues/qualities that render him a much ''better'' person than many of the ''default-good'' ones.
Also I don't believe that an ''evil'' character is the true responsible for his nature.

So, even if you don't see any chance to ''change'' him, you can still ''accept'' him...

Because he's really hot?

Still, the PC and Tsujatha have much in common on that score. My characters are usually good and had no qualms about killing Sarevok to avenge Gorion. In this game, I have RPed him/her with a sense of remorse - was murder the only way?
