I've heard of them but what are they and what do they do? I've played thru BG1 and TOTSC as well as BG2 but I have yet to find any.

You get the silver ones (along with a reputation hit) if you decide to collect the ransom for Lady Elgea (or whoever) in BG2. Nice ransom, eh? ;)

Anyway, you'll get gold pantaloons in BG1 and silver in SoA. To make them useable, you have to play ToB. There you'll find third pantaloons and you'll be able to combine them all in something.

For more details, check ToB forum.

But I've heard that the golden pantaloons
don't transfer over to BG2 when you import your party. So how can you have all three in TOB?

[IMG] Those special items will transfer. Don't worry. :)

  7. Actually, I think it's a fact that most people miss the stuff behind the picture in Joneleth's dungeon, so I'll tell you this, pantaloons and the summon cow scroll will be transferred into the game but it's behind the picture on the wall where you get your weapons. Just use TAB.

BTW: I'm not too sure about the summon cow scroll

    Forget the scroll.

Only items from BG1 that actually transfer are pantaloons and Drizzt's weapons. Anything else you possibly find is strictly placed on random basis (for example, claw of Kazgaroth).

[IMG] Too bad that summon cow scroll didn't make the trip. I can just imagine calling up Bessie to wander across the Amaunator temple floor in Umar Hills...:rolling:
    MOO! :flaming:<voooshh>
    ow, dammit, MOOO! :flaming: <voooshh>

Heh - great mental image, there.

"Summon cow" is cheat item and I don't even understand how someone got idea you can smuggle it in your inventory without cheating some more.

Anyway, when you cheated to get it in BG1, you can do the same thing in BG2. The console command for it is the same as was in BG1.
