How would i be able to put them in my inventory? i have a char imported but i am not using him at the moment. wouldn't i have to just drag and drop a certain file? can i do this without starting a new game?

Do you know how the cheats work? If your character is in your current game or you are playing with this character, try these CLUA codes:
    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("misc47") - Golden pantaloons (BG1)
    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("misc5o") - Silver pantaloons (SoA)
    CLUAConsole:CreateItem("misccb") - Bronze pantalettes (ToB)

Also, you can start up a game, import the character you want to have them and use the codes. Then export the character with a number after their name, such as Luke1 or something.

Err, I don't know, never had pantaloons, IIRC you need to play BG1 to have them. You can use Shadow Keeper to put that (or anything you want) into your character's inventory, or use CLUA console cheat when in-game. You can do SK trick before starting a game (via editing the imported character file) or after starting a game (via editing the save game file).

    For in-game cheat:
    Push CTRL+Space and type:

    CLUAConsole:CreateItem('Itemname')

Oh you need to enable Debug mode from a note-pad file in your BG2 directory, it was BG2.ini IIRC. Details are escaping me now, unfourtunately, it has been so long since I last did this. :)

EDIT:Ah, Fel was faster than me I see. :)

Move your saved game to the multiplayer folder, add the character with the pantaloons, take the pantaloons from him, remove him and move your saved game back.

You know that you have to act evil in order to get the other pantaloons ?
