Has anyone actually killed everyone in the Order? By that I mean in their Hall. I wanted to try it but had Keldorn and Anomen in my party.

Who are Elminster and Volo, I'm not a big D&D buff and much of this world is new to me. Elminster is an old wizard I think; is Volo in the game? Also can you kill Ribald? What happens if you do?

Finally, there is a brief opportunity to kill Saemon Havarian just after his ship is attacked and before the "Fishmen" (Minsc) come. I did so with the priest spell 'finger of death' yet the little narration that appeared shortly after still spoke of Havarian escaping. I am curious as to whether he will appear later to give me those eggs (unless I'm mistaken and that's someone else... the abused Drow captain I think.

Yeah, I wasted everyone in the Radiant Hearts building after running around doing Keldorns pathetic quest......unfortunately I didn't know that Anomen was anything to do with them at the time and subsequently missed his quest....Oops :D

I've meet Volo in BG1(tavern in Nashkel) but have not found him in BG2 if he even is in it. I believe he is a famous bard.

Volothamp Geddarm (CG, Human Male, Wizard, 5th level), A roguish magician known for his neatly trimmed beard, stylish beret and acid tongue, Volo is a feature throughout the Realms - a brief feature, since his honesty in reporting often puts him at odds with the local merchants, constabulatory, and wizards. He has written a number of works, including a popular series of guides to various cities and Volo's Guide to All Things Magical, a suppressed work dealing with magic "for the common people." Volo is an eminent sage who concerns himself with wizards and with the geography and lore of the Realms.

    (Eminent indeed! - Elminster)

As a result, he is a fountain of knowledge on subjects and more than wlling to share the juiciest portions with whomever will listen. As a result, Volo must move around a lot in order to stay alive, which adds to his storehouse of information on geography. Heroes may find Volo anywhere in the Realms, usually on the run from this irate wizard or that angry innkeeper.

(The price of fame, or infamy? - Elminster)

Well he is in BG1 but not in 2. He is the one who wrote the bg manuals, strangely, along with Elminster. When Jahera goes in the middle of the night and a strange old man gives you the letter she supposedly dropped did anyone else think he was Elminster. His name i can't remember but in bg1 sarevok changed his name to koveras to get close to you and that was just his name backwards, so if you look closely at the guys name it does resemble elmonsters' name a bit doesn't it, and who is Ribald?

You get to see Elminster in the game as Terminsel...
As for Volo... He'll be in Throne of Bhaal, along with ol' Elminster again.
