    Out of curiousity, what happens when you start in ALFA in Daggerfalls?

    I'm wondering, as I hope start playing soon (was accepted some time ago, but couldn't get NWN to work) and I thought it might be useful in a biog.

    Well, you create a character, then you appear outside one of the gates. From there on, everything is up to you. There are a few low level static quests around, and of course one should always visit the market.

    Good to know that there will be yet another SPer around. Oh, and a suggestion, by the sounds of it you've already got a character all planned out and everything, if you really want to use this character, I'd suggest not making him as your first character, unless you want him dead shortly.

    How many SPer does that make now? I count around 10.

    My second live character made it to level 3, you just have to learn quick and be careful.

    Well, if he's any thing like Rotku was, it'll take months and months to get a character up to level 2 and then die right after getting up the level.

    Heh, it took me a long time too. Not exactly to reach lvl2 (second or forth char got there), but to survive a while. And when i finaly did reach the god-like level i went to Dagger Valley :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
    Nice place if it werent for the skeleton warriors charging at you as soon as you enter the tombs :heh:

    So, jep i second that advice... and when he dies dont hang yourself :)

    lol, it's a shame I lack the creativity to come up with a second character! Hopefully I'll come up with something. Perhaps an archer, rather than my usual toe-to-toe slugger.

    One thing you'll learn quickly in ALFA...EVERYONE is an archer!!!! Run/shoot...It's a fun way to live in Daggerdale!!

    How true!
    Melee characters never live long. Always a chance to get hit no matter your AC (and these natural 20s happen to often... i think i'm on to something :D ). Unless you see a goblin archer and your lvl6 dont go near him ;) :p
