Original Saga Bug Or Something I Forgot?

    Hello, I've been playing the Original Saga continuing my game from the first release of Baldur's Gate, I used the savegame convertor and I'm now on the last quest of Tales of the Sword Coast, the Werewolf Island quest. My problem is that on the northern island (the area directly above the village) several of the characters (Palin namely and another woman whose name I cannot recall at the moment) will walk up to me and keep repeating their greeting. Palin keeps saying "Hullo" over and over again and no other dialogue shows up. I tried clicking the talk icon on him and it didn't work. Attacking him is fruitless until he dies. I've tried restarting the computer and restoring the game and everything else I could think of such as making sure that I'd talked to everyone in the previous area first to no avail. Does anyone have any idea of what is wrong and how I can fix it? I have Windows XP if that matters.... Thanks.

    I've used the Original Saga on 98 and I don't recall having that problem. Wierd

    I've played it with XP installed and never had any problems like the ones you're describing. Do you have any mods installed?

    Quite weird, yes. I don't have any mods installed, I'm just using converted savegames from the original BG before I got the Original Saga with TotSC. Perhaps I should reinstall it?
