[IMG] Woah. And I mean woah.

My party just wiped out the entire bunch of losers, slaughtering the useless paladins left and right.

They were worthless, giving up only about 1400xp each.

Then I burst in on the Prelate who promptly attacks me with...his fists! A few strikes with Celestial Fury later, he was flying into chunks and my party got 250,000 XP!! That levelled up my PC, Viconia and Edwin at one fell swoop!

Who would have thought that such a worthless moron could give such a high xp award?

Next up, the Temple of Lathander...and then Helm.

Hey, don't diss 1400 XP per knight. There's four outside the Order, something like a dozen or so inside, which amounts to, say, 15 knights. Which means at total, 21000 XP - nearly the amount of XP you get from completing a medium-sized quest.

But, jeez... 250,000. That's, like, ungodly. Or godly. Whatever.

    By the way, it's "whoa."

Am I evil? Is the pope Catholic?

That's a hell lot of xp for such an easy kill. So evil charnames heed this! Get your virtually free XPs at the Order of the Radiant Heart! Simply smack around a couple of wimpy paladins and then put your sword into the Prelate's gut!

There is no reprisal at all!

Neither is there a reputation loss, strangely enough.

Nor is there a reputation rise for wiping the Theives Guild out.

What would 250,000 be in perspective to? How much do you get for Big Red? Or Thixill'ysskfeinv or whatever his name is (the black dragon in the elf city)?

That sad thing about that is that if you try and kill Aran, some assasin pops up that can't be killed (even with countless ctrl + Y's), and hacks my PC to death.
    :yot:
I understand that killing Aran makes it impossible to proceed in the game, but I think that if you kill him, Bodhi should take you in, so the game could resume...or visa versa. :rolling:

    250,000 XP is insane.

Firkraag is worth, IIRC, 64,000 XP. So we're talking about the XP value of FOUR RED DRAGONS!?!?

Err, IIRC he only gives 25,000 EXP, not 250,000...

Right, my CN sorcerer really needs to try this then if there's no reputation loss (and the loss of Jaheira and Minsc).

I only got 25000 for him, not 250000.

That said, 25000 is still one hell of a lot of XP for such a wimpy enemy. I've fought Liches who were worth less than that.

That makes more sense. But still, what's up with a lowly mortal being worth about 1/3 of a Red Dragon?

    Hmm
might have been a mistake on my part then. Sorry about that. :o

Still, it's an extremely easy 25000 to earn along with all the bits and pieces of XP you get slaughtering the other paladins.
