    I skipped chapter 5 by taking the back-door
    in the Kuo-Ta dungeon (in the western underdark), my question is: did i miss something really big by not doing the Drow city (like, items,xp, and general fun!)...Cause you cant go back and do the Silver Dragons "egg hunt".

    Oof! You missed a ton! Unless you're talking ONLY about the city and not the other dungeons. In the city itself there are a number of fun quests plus two fighting arenas for your enjoyment, a lich to vanquish and a whole Drow household to squash beneath your bootheel, but nothing really major I suppose... Are you sure you can't go back and do the dragon egg quest? I enjoyed the whole Underdark immensely, but I thought if I tried it again, I might want to pick up Imoen early and bypass the Underdark like you did and come back to it...

    Well, i did the mindflayer dungeon, beholder cave, dwarvem mission etc... And the whole Kuo-Ta dungeon. Actually i think this is an interesting shortcut (my friend who started playing at the same time is still in the Drow city). But, i tried to return (thinking that maybe the silver dragon would maybe transform me into a drow AGAIN).. but she told me that i had exposed myself and it was to late (end) But... In my quest log it says i blew it up and there is no turning back - but it also says that i CAN face a "impossible fight" by taking on the whole drow city by myself...kinda interesting way - taking the shortcut to Chapter 6 and then returning to slaughter the Drow Ciry :)

    Ahhh, so you had already talked to Adalon before leaving... I wonder if you just go straight to the Kuo-Toa dungeon and out if you can come back and do the whole thing...
