    Here's my list of interest:

    - Mask of the Betrayer
    - The Witcher
    - Oblivion with expansions
    - Age of Empires III with expansions
    - Colin McRae: Dirt
    - Toca Race Driver 3 (because the price is halved)

I hate bugs, I don't like unreasonable difficulty levels (be it too easy or too hard - I don't want an interactive film, but I don't want to reload 100 times per battle, either), I don't like prohibiting interfaces, I want to be able to relax. As for car racing games, I don't like obligatory career mode and I don't want to have to tune the car, spend cash on upgrades and the like - I just want to drive.

Needless to say, can't afford playing everything from the list, or buying it all for that matter. I'll need to stick with two or three, I think. This is why I made this thread. I need some perspective.

Just for the record, the PC is a PIV 2.6c with 1 GB RAM at 400 MHz and a 2600XT graphics card. It's no cheetah, but it gets 80+ fps in NWN2. I'm probably better off with graphics-intense games than with CPU or RAM intense ones. And I do like good graphics or sound, but I want it smooth too. ;)

On your list the only game I have played is Oblivion. It is graphic intense. It is an open-ended game which is why they used the leveling system so many people complain about. With patches I have only a few problems. It does have bugs but the console makes it possible to overcome most of them. The story, IMO, sucks and I find it hard to role play. If you can get it cheap with Shivering Isles I recommend it. Shivering Isles is great fun to play and much better (again IMO) then the original Oblivion. It is a good rainy day game.

I enjoyed Age of Empires III, but never tried the expansions.

Oblivion is on my wishlist, but I haven't seen enough of anything else on the list to make a comment.

I recommend you buy The Witcher. Then you can tell me whether it's any good or not. Shamon.

I flipped up between The Witcher and MotB and ended up going Witcher. I don't think there is a right choice in this one though.
Well, did you prefer Fallout or Ps:T, because that (from all the adoring praise) seems to be their classical equivalents.

Check your system requirements for The Witcher though - a patch was just released and it apparently lowers the loading hell, but they're pretty high.

The only game I've played on your list is Elder Scrolls IV. It's a great game, IMO, especially with the add-on Knights of the Nine. The game is open-ended and I rarely play the OC included in the stand alone game. I have played it on just that config, with a P4 2.6C, 1 GBRAM and nVidia 6800 graphics, and it ran OK on medium settings. But I got too many slow downs on high graphics settings with the P4. If you could get the GotY edition at a good price, it will keep you busy for a long time.
