opening .rar files?

    [​IMG] What application do you use to open .rar files? Because I downloaded an album off of Bitcomment/torrent(?) and it's in this format and when I try to open it, it says there's no application that can open it and asks which I want to use :confused:

    I use Winrar, its a free download, just google it. It is a good solid program that gets used all the time.

    I echo what Brall and Mauro said. WinRAR is *all* you need since it handles just about every commpressed file out there, from .Ace to .Zip. IIRC, it also has better compression rates when compared to WinZip. :thumb: :rolling:

    WinRar is good. There is also 7Zip and PowerAchiever. Not sure if PowerAchiever is free tho.
