I'm in Nashkell clicking on the gravestones in the cemetery and a Wizard shows up and tells me to stop clicking on his stone. Of course, I can't help but take the challenge and click his stone again. 2nd warning. Click a 3rd time- and I'm surrounded by Phoenix Warriors. I kill one; he explodes, and my whole party's dead.

After reloading a few times, I'm able to run away and pick them off one by one with range weapons. The last couple chased me to the edge of the map and by going back and forth to the carnival I was able to finish them off. Or so I thought.

After a nice trip to the carnival, I return to find a lone Phoenix Warrior in the middle of town. I run away and pick it off with range weapons like before, only this time when he explodes, he kills Obleck in the fire. I already returned his reward money when he mistook me for someone else and I got the XP for it. Will I be missing out on anything plot wise if he's dead?

Well, at least I'll be able to buy him a real nice gravesite with the 3000 gold I found on his charred body. :)

Well I think there's another reward coming from him for bringing in Brage... or was that for Mulahey?
One of those two anyway. Nothing major though.
At least as far as I can remember... It's been a while. ;)

It's Brage, but you could choose the nice solution and take him to the temple instead and get more xp...
