[IMG] I am into making weird characters. I recently read about a Dwarf Druid. Kudos to the inventor, (sorry I forgot who you are). I thought about making a Dwarf Bard. And who could forget Ragusa's Eternal Halfling Paladin? ;)

What are your suggestions? Think about possible multi-class options too!

All your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    Cheers.

Pikel the dwarven druid is in the cleric quintet books by RA Salvatore

There was a dwarven bard in the RA Salvatore book when Drizzt first leaves the Underdark but I cant remember his name.

I think something like a drow/tiefling druid or a half orc sorcerer would be a bit weirder - don't know whether they have ever shown up in books

I plan to make the ultimate pally: Sir Saul'Paul. Having started a career as a rogue he later decides to change his illegal ways to become a force of rightousness ;) Deeply impressed by the aasimar sub-race I haven't yet tried out a halfling paladin in IWD-2, however, I'm *very* sure I'll create one soon :heh:

I have a gold dwarf fighter-ranger in my actual party, he is a swing role fighter, able to hold his place in melee with his two axes and to provide excellent ranged support with his heavy crossbow (he has weapon specialisation with axes and crossbows). Only drawback is his crappy dex and that he needs to share the rare good leather with my halfling rogue-fighter.

The oddest char I created till now was my deep gnome barbarian-illusionist ... the reasons for this odd choice are selfevident however ;) My halfling monk-rogue was pretty flexible but kinda ineffective in combat, however, a formidable scout.

Monkey. Drow Druid sounds great. I wonder what Malavon and Viconia would think of a "drow tree hugger"?

Ragusa. Do you have any other weird suggestions? I was not always necessarily thinking of "power Characters" or "ubercharacters", just something new and sort of odd.

    Cheers

Personally I'm still searching for a niché for the ghostwise halfling - seem to be predestined for rangers and druids IMO, however, how about a ghostwise halfling bard? Or a gold dwarf bard ... or a deep gnome druid ... ?

A Aasimar Sorceror with Snake Blood. They would have Holy, Yaun-ti, and Dragon blood in their ancestory!

Lawful Good Drow or Duergar are an interesting lot... Paladins or Monks would be an odd class for both races. But so would Druids, since Drow and Gray Dwarves dwell in the Underdark.

Deep Gnome Druids or Monks also seem a bit odd.

How about a dwarf (any type) sorcerer.

Half-Orc Mage would be interesting to try. On the same note, half-orc sorcerer or bard would be kind of strange.
    Halfling mage would be unusual.

Half-Orc Rogue would be a funny one.
They seem to big and brutish to have any finesse. Imagine a 6-7 ft hulking half-orc trying to hide himself in the shadows!
Not to mention their big hands dipping into peoples pockets.

Rastor, I found some great portraits from Wyndz and Hellkitty for this role. I am so pleased that people have come up with extra portraits since most that come with the game simply don't fit such odd characters. If you'd like the links (assuming you don't have them) send me a private message and I'll get them to you or via regular email.

    Cheers.

    O well,
