Maximus from NWVault has posted the first part of his wrap-up of the Obsidian visit, dealing with meeting the team and the November Demo. Here's an excerpt:

I normally travel only once a year for E3, but IGN was having their Christmas party and I was invited. Located in San Francisco, IGN's offices are fairly close to where Obsidian Entertainment is located. It was just too good an opportunity to take advantage of and I contacted Obsidian Entertainment's CEO, Feargus Urquhart to see if there was any chance I could drop by. Well Feargus was very open to the idea and I wasted no time in getting my flight booked. After I told my wife of my plans, she asked where they were located, to which I replied in Orange County, about 500 miles from San Francisco. My wife said, "the O.C. like the TV show?". Being her favorite show, she then explained that it stands for Orange County, and gave me a quick run down of the show which involves some very rich spoiled kids and their exploits. My wife refuses to fly but I think it was the closest she ever came of wanting to go somewhere by plane.
