Browsed through the "complete warrior" and "complete divine" D&D books at the bookstore on my lunchbreak today, and felt a little gipped at the sheer number of "official" prestige classes there are out there, yet only a select few are implemented in the game. I realize many are limited by game mechanics (like the Purple Dragon Knight) but others (like the Bladesinger) seem like easy no-brainers to me.

I haven't goofed around with the toolset much, and don't really plan to - but I'm sure some of you have and can fill me in. :)

    Thanks a pantload.

I've looked around in the toolset, and it would be a literal nightmare to create a new prestige class.

For one thing it would be badly bugged, messing with mechanics of the original game and probably missing important relations. For another there is two hidden prestige classes already in the game. Obsidian locked them. Why? Because they are bugged all to hell.

Not to mension that the tool set isn't the easiest thing in the world to use.

If it is possible to create your own prestige classes I would advise aginced it because of the amount of things that could go wrong.

    Just my :2c:
