NWN will not start

    OK I installed this game perfectly with first a full install, but since that didn’t work, I uninstalled it and did a minimum install. However, it still has the same problem. The launcher comes up and I click ‘play’ and it shows the loading screen (the NWN symbol: the bleeding eye or whatever) and then it instantly returns me to the Windows desktop. The same problem occurs when I click ‘DM client’. The only thing that works is the tool set, readme, configure, update, and exit. The game won’t start. I am running on Windows ME, Nvidia GeForce 2, and all the other requirements are met. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks. I have been waiting quite a while to play this.

    [​IMG] Thanks, I couldn’t find that thread before. Anyways, I tried downloading the patch with ‘upgrade’ and it worked.

    Go to nVidia's website and click on driver updates, then select the GeForce2. See if they have one that updates OpenGL support. I can't remember what version you need for NWN, but get the newest one and it should work.
