[IMG] Ok, like kuemper, I just started the game, so please, no spoiler if possible.
Morte is the first one, right, you can leave him or is necessary in the future?
I just entered to a bar (or some such), the one with the flaming guy, there is a guy who wants to add to my party, so, how many are in the game?
If possible, can you tell me the name of them and if they are good, neutral and bad.
    Thanks!

    Morte - Good
    Dak'kon "*Zerth*" - neutral
    Annah - Neutral
    Fall-From-Grace - Neutral
Ignus - Neutral (afaik, he may be a baddie, though)
    Nordom - Neutral
    Vhailor - Neutral

So, there's 7 NPC, of which 6 are neutral.

Ignus is insane and extremely unstable, but yes, he is neutral. He's probably the closest thing to an evil NPC you're likely to encounter. Then again, Vhailor isn't exactly the nicest basher either.

Erm... no, I think Ignus is Evil (Chaotic, I think). Nordom is Chaotic Neutral. Vhailor is Lawful Neutral (obviously). The others I'm not very sure.

All the NPCs are great -- some just aren't as useful as others. Only Annah is necessary for a short time, but all of them add to the experience.

Morte, Fighter, his taunt ability is great against mages (look for ways to improve this ability). He has resistance to damage, but cannot improve his armor class by wearing ANYTHING (not even a helmet). Uses his teeth as weapons (and you can find additional teeth for him to use). He is the best fighter in the game.

Dak'kon, Githzarai Fighter/Mage. Another great character, his weapon changes over the course of the game. He can be used as a fighter or a mage -- powerful in both. He can also change Nameless' class between mage and fighter by talking to him.

Annah, tiefling thief. The only thief in the game (other than Nameless). Very powerful with the fade and attack strategy -- she alone slayed the most powerful monster in the game. She can change Nameless' class between thief and fighter.

Falls-From-Grace, succubi cleric. The only cleric in the game. She is really only an average character in terms of combat ability, but she really adds to the plot and has a great ending.

Nordom, Modron fighter. He is the ultimate fire support -- uses crossbows. Not very powerful in combat but useful.

Ignus, human (once) mage. He's the guy on fire in the bar. Very powerful fire-based mage, but I really didn't find a use for him. He's the only evil character in the game.

Vhailor, Restless Spirit Fighter. He's got a great weapon and hits hard, but by the time you get him all the other NPC's are more powerful.

The best endings involve Annah, Dak'kon, Morte, Falls-From-Grace, and Nordom. The best dialogs are from Morte with Nordom, Annah and Falls-From-Grace.

Sweet. Thanks. I think that with this I have all the information.
So with Dak'kon being a mage, the spells works as in BG, right? Have to sleep to get them back, right?
Another thing, where to sell things? and identify? I wondered around the hive but couldn't find anyone who buy/identify. The guy who sells tatooes won't identify anything I have...
I got killed by a thug and I found myself in the Mortuary again, so, I reloaded a quick game. When 'resurected', I have to start all over? or I have to go just out?
    Thanks!

When "resurrected", you just walk out of the Mortuary and continue.

There are merchants who can identify stuff in the Marketplace (Southwest Hive) and in Ragpicker's square. Open the shop screen and click the Identify icon (questionmark). Not all merchants can identify everything.

It depends how you play, but I'd take just four characters; Dak'kon, Annah, and Fall-From-Grace. Unless you are playing with max difficulty, you won't be having much trouble with the AI. Like said: Annah can pretty much alone deal with ANY creature/boss, provided that you get her out of sight for a moment. ;)

    **EDIT**

Oh, right; you could drag Morte with you too.

    I wouldn't ditch Morte. He's too cool.

And by now everyone should have realised the fact that retty much every NPC is "the best" in someones opinion. And its true. they all rock. Just pick whoever you think is cool, and it works. amazing.

This is the game where you REALLY wish you could take all 7 NPCs with you :)

I ditched Ignus after a while (he was starting to get on my nerves, I have to admit, and besides TNO and Dakkon were giving me all the mage power I needed) and replaced him with Nordom. Eventually ditched Nordom for Vhailor.

I think that plot-wise the party I had (Morte, Dakkon, Annah, Grace and Vhailor) makes the most sense, but really all of them work.
