npc-specific items

    [​IMG] Some items say that they are only usable by the npc that owns them. i.e. Ferthgar (or whatever the DSotSC dwarf's name is) has a helm "only usable by him." My PC (a dwarf fighter) puts the helm on & his magic resistance goes from 0 to 50%. Which entry is correct? Does the helm work for Ferth ONLY, or do I have 50% MR? Are the other npc-specific items that way, too?

    Normally an item marked as only useable by an NPC cannot be equipped by anyone else...
