I just noticed a banner ad from Newegg when I entered SP Forums. I do not know if Newegg is advertising directly (doubtful) or is just one of the advertisers that uses the banner ad server that SP uses (probably). Not sure what the proper terms are.

Anyway, it is interesting how big Newegg is getting. I have been using them for several years, but I live very close to them so I get fantastic service. If I order early in the morning sometimes my stuff is at my house when I get home. I see other forum members using Newegg also. The other day I saw a billboard with a Newegg ad on it. I do not really think that billboards are going to get any sales, but they can spend the money on them. Are they going to be the new Dell? Well, probably not that big but maybe a Tiger Direct size is possible.

I wish Newegg would advertise directly... heh. It was just one of the ads delivered by our advertising provider.

I've been moaning about the lack of a Newegg affiliate system that I could sign SP up for for ages. But I guess their business is doing so great they don't need to give anyone any percentages to get them more customers or business.

    NewEgg rocks. :thumb:

While buliding my computers and other misc electronics, I always go to Newegg first to check the price. What ever agreements they have with FedEx and UPS are great! About 40% of the things I buy often have free shipping, and the other 60% comes with a fairly cheap 3 day shipping. (Although they usually ship within 2 days!)

I wouldn't mind if Newegg became one of the biggest online retailers. :thumb: :rolling:
