Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Patch 1.31: The Divine Might spellscript has been fixed (and uncapped) in our internal builds for a while, but I am not sure if this fix made it into 1.31 or not. Same goes for a variety of spells that are not supposed to stack but do at the moment. Blackguards can get divine might/shield in our internal builds, so its probably in 1.31, but I'm not 100% sure of this either. IIRC programming did some changes to the color codes to prevent abuse. I am not sure if they are completely disabled for PC names now, or just greatly limited.

HotU: I just wanted to say hello again and set some expectations on how information on Hordes of the Underdark will be given out, and some expectations on how we at bioware will be discusing this information. First of all we are never going to discuss anything we are not 99% sure will be in the game, and has been aproved by Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro. We may discuss some ideas like "this adventure will take place in the underdark.", but will not go into any more detail then that. For at least two reasons:

    1. Some things are better if discovered when the community discusses them after playing the game.
    2. Trolls don't need more ammo.

In a few weeks time Tom, Jay, Robin, and Jeff will be posting known features about Hordes of the Underdark, however some will also be given to sister sights, and some kept for magazine interviews. After the spicific features are relased, the Hordes development team may comment on them and answer questions. Also the development team may post questions here from time to time to get the community involved with the design of the game. If anyone has any questions about this, please let me know.

Also, there has been at least one change made to the game recently which happend after the CGW artical went to print, and that is there will be well over 200 new feats and feat-like abilities.

Bugs: We have a record and appreciate all the bug reports that are sent in to BioWare. With a set amount of resources and time, we are forced to prioritize which bugs get fixed when. Some, such as blocking issues and exploits, must be fixed immeadiately. Introduced bugs have a higher priority that existing bugs. Others, such as typos and other strangesness must be put off in light of higher priority bugs. For the bugs in the middle, they are evaluated on a case by case basis, for each patch. The biggest problem that people have is when their favourite bug isn't fixed in the next patch. Rest assured that we do know about it, but we are always forced to prioritize. Once you have found a bug, it is always the most obvious thing and you can't believe we haven't found it. We feel the same way about the bugs we find that you guys don't
