Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    Get2DAString function
Server side, the 2da does not need to be on the client as all scripts run server side. Custom 2das do not need to be in a hakpak, having them in the server override is fine. They are an excellent way of organizing i.e. loot tables, etc since you don't need to give them to the player.

1 extra game copy for lan or 3?

I'm not sure how much say developers have in it, but obviously popular developers such as Bioware do have some control over who their publisher is
There is only one publisher with the D&D license.

1.64: Metamagic Feats & Class Restrictions

Considering patch 1.64 is probably going to be the last update for NWN,
Considering that we never said that, I am wondering why this rumour keeps coming back.

    Ports?
NWN uses port 5121 UDP by default.

    "conflict with disc emulation software"
    a) Please make sure to update to the latest version of the game.

    b) This is a problem with the SecuRom copy protection. Please contact Atari customer service or visit their boards at http://www.ataricommunity.com.
