Does it require the CD in the drive to play it then?
    No.

    More:
I was already expecting many posts complaining it was impossible to play the modules because of non-detection of the CD ( as in http://nwn.bioware.com/support/known.html#06 )
That was Securom. Securom hasn't been around for about a year or so. I would have to check my notes to find the exact date. Good catch though.

Actually I think one of the reason I do not find online payment easy, is that Bioware doesn't support popular EU/European payment option like Visa Electron. As I understand, younger people especially students(I mean younger that 30), do not usually have full credit card unlike in states/Canada. Instead direct-payment cards are very popular here, like Visa Electron.I honestly think one of the reason World of WarCraft is so popular in EU is because it actually uses EU pament options. I think most US firms simply ignore the EU options and wonder why their product doesn't sell that well online.I would be interested to hear why most firms in US/Canada does not really allow Visa Electron (and like) as payment option. Simply lack of market research presuming its like in US? I simply wish more online stores were more EU friendly.
Our credit card transaction providers have assured us that all MasterCard- and Visa-sponsored debit cards, such as the European-based Visa Electron, are properly supported. If you are having trouble making a purchase with such a card, we recommend getting in touch with our customer service.
