Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. "And for the next patch we want..."
For the next patch I'd like to see forum posters:1) Stop making new requests.2) Stop complaining about their NWN pet peeve issues.:) :shake:

    Drown

I remember rolling a 1 when shooting with a short bow then having to roll again to see what exactly happened... the arrow off my bow misfired and killed our cleric attempting to heal himself
We had an evil player intentionally shoot and kill another party member once. When the rest of the party asked him what he was doing he claimed:"I was cleaning my bow and it just went off!":evillol:

    Inspirations

Where do you get your inspiration when it comes to module or game concept design?
Electric shocks, bouts of temporary insanity, and the occasional repeated contact of my forehead to my desk.Seriously though, I find that my jolts of inspiration come from all over the place. Sometimes it's a piece of music, sometimes it's while I'm drinking a cup of coffee, and oftentimes it's while I'm just out for a walk, free from the distractions of computers and games. That last one works wonders during a light snowfall in the dead of winter.

    More:

and the occasional repeated contact of my forehead to my desk.
that explains where chest-bashing came from in NWN :p
You'd think, but I was still a community member back in those days.

    Little help here bracket problem
There's a few things wrong with the script, but it's not hard to take care of them.1) You have an extra bracket after the "object oPC" line. Remove it.2) You have an extra brace after the "int iRoll" line. Remove it.3) You need a semicolon at the end of the "int iRoll" line.4) Don't capitalize D12. The function is "d12." It's caps sensitive.5) Remove the very last brace from the script. It's an extra one.6) Declaring a variable type inside a case statement = bad. Declare "effect Sick1" before the switch statement, and remove the word "effect" from each case statement. They should now read "Sick1 = EffectDisease(whatever);"The script should now compile. I hope that all helps!
