    bug with new bulette creature
I guess that's why it is called "Dragon Breath" and not "Bulette breath" Short: just don't do it.

    Content of Platinum Edition

Thanks for the reply guys. So does that mean that some Platinum boxes come with 1 DVD while others contain 4 CDs or they are all CDs?
Some vendors sell a NWN Platinum DVD Editon, yes.

Setting max memory - How, Where, and in what?

Quote: I've seen this asked in liked 6 different threads and NO ONE has provided a concrete answer.... not even devs.
Really. Interesting. Craig has repeated this and explained more about this during the last week on these boards: Click Here

    - There is no multiplayer.ini file.

I wonder where the confusion comes from, the patchnotes are pretty clear on this:

    - Added new "Max Memory Usage" ini setting to [Game Options] in the nwnplayer.ini file. This allows you to set the amount of available memory (in Megs) that the game will use for caching resources in memory. Adding more memory for the cache may improve performance up to a point, after which increasing the cache size any more most likely wont do much. Your mileage may vary.
I took a peek into the code and it is doing exactly what the patchnotes say.

    - Read setting from nwnplayer.ini section [Game Options] Label "Max Memory Usage=" (if [Game Options] doesn't exist yet, then you need to create it)

    - It's capping downwards at 16 megs. If you put in less than 16 megs, it's defaulting.

You will be fine with 32 - 64 megs on most clients, if you run a huge PW server, you should try more and see if it improves performance. As will most caching systems, you will eventually hit a point with diminishing returns and performance DECREASES if you take too much memory. If you tell NWN to use 3/4th of your systems memory, it will do so and eventually choke other processes on the machine, causing them to swap to disk and thereby degrading performance a lot. The setting affect client and server.
